About Biomedical Communications At Biomedical Communications our goal is to provide the faculty, staff and students of Auburn University with top quality, state-of the art service in the areas of Graphic Design, Medical Photography, Digital Imaging, AudioVisual, and Classroom Support. Each department is highly specialized in the services that we provide. If there is a project that isn't listed on this site, we will be more than happy to discuss it with you. We are here to help!  What's New At BIOMED BIOMED can now record your video in High Definition (HD). Currently we are the only campus unit that is HD capable. Please see Silas Zee with questions. Please visit the new "Helpful Hints and How-To's" section of our web page. You will find useful information on large format poster design, slides, and seals and logos that can be used for PowerPoint, posters and print publications. We are now developing an "Online Lectures" section of the Student & Faculty Web page. We can take your (faculty) PowerPoint presentations and lecture material, convert them to PDF handouts and upload them to the web for easy student access. PowerPoint shows can also be uploaded so that students will have access to your lectures anytime...anywhere. *You must be "logged in to the web site to access online lectures.
Video Production Biomedical Communications is equipped with sophisticated multimedia and video technology that will allow our clients to receive high quality productions in a timely manner. Media productions can be placed on videotape, CD/DVD, the Web and the College server for use in classroom instruction or presentations. With our state-of-the-art production equipment, media productions can be produced in our studio or in any other environment. Photography and Digital Imaging BIOMED offers professional-quality photographic services to our faculty, staff and students including medical and scientific, studio, location, and copy photography. Biomedical Communications can produce excellent photography for surgery, research, education, patients, publicity, portraits, aerial pictures and brochures. A fully equipped portrait studio makes it possible to produce professional quality portraits for public relations, brochures, and professional publications.	Web Design and Interactive Media From interactive brochures to instructional media, BIOMED can transform your information into fully interactive presentations that appeal to all the senses. Using video, audio, digital imaging and web technology, BIOMED can communicate your ideas with cutting-edge expertise in a variety of formats. Whether you desire CD-ROM, DVD, video or online presentations, BIOMED has the latest technology to deliver in a timely, cost-effective manner. Graphic Design We provide complete graphic design services to create publications, presentations and displays that help you clearly and concisely communicate your ideas and information. Staff artists design and create brochures, newsletters, scientific poster sessions, illustration and a variety of other media.  You may elect to use specific services, or you can request project coordination through our graphic design department. We can coordinate your project all the way to the final printed product, including printing estimates.
