Emergency services at the Auburn University Large and Small Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospitals operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, including holidays. It is important to call the hospital emergency phone number listed below for either the large or small hospital before arrival when transporting an animal for emergency care. When possible, it is recommended to first contact your veterinarian to request assistance through referral of your case directly through the on-duty clinician. This is not required but can help to streamline the triage and treatment process. Phone numbers and GPS addresses are listed below for both the large and small animal emergency units.
All fees are due at time of service. Hospitalizations require a deposit at intake equal to half of the high estimate with remaining balance due at discharge. Owners will be notified of revised estimates due to additional necessary treatments or if additional charges for lab work, etc. are incurred after discharge. Payment accepted in the form of cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Contact our Billing Office at (334) 844-4690 with any questions about your bill or for CareCredit assistance.
