Join us for the first Alabama One Health Symposium!

Hosted in partnership with the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health, and the Alabama Department of Public Health, the Alabama One Health Symposium will bring together professionals, researchers, students, policymakers, and community leaders to explore the critical intersection of One Health and emergency preparedness. Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and collaborative activities, participants will examine strategies to strengthen preparedness and response efforts while advancing a comprehensive One Health approach to addressing complex challenges that impact human, animal, and environmental health.
The 2026 symposium will be held November 16, 2026, at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center, in the heart of the Auburn University campus.

The Alabama One Health Symposium invites students, researchers, professionals, and community partners to submit poster abstracts showcasing innovative work in One Health, public health, veterinary medicine, environmental health, and related fields.
