Research Interests
Gut Pathogens-Microbiome Laboratory
Focus areas:
- Microbiome-targeted non-antibiotic strategies against important enteric diseases such as C. difficile infection in humans and animals.
- Effect of dysbiosis-associated clostridial metabolites on the gut-brain and gut-liver axes.
- Molecular epidemiology and zoonotic transmission of community-associated C. difficile infection.
- In situ animal models for the human gut-microbiome-pathogen interface.
