Biography

Dr. Elizabeth Steelmon is from Waverly Hall, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating summa cum laude. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026. She is the current Large Animal Rotating Intern with an Equine Emphasis. Dr. Steelmon is interested in preventative medicine, herd health and client communication. Long term, she hopes to pursue rural large animal ambulatory medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with her two golden retrievers and husband, and planning fun trips with her vet school friends.
