Jimena Zúñiga, LV

Biography

Dr. Zúñiga received her Licentiate Degree in Veterinary Medicine at Escuela de Medicina y Cirugía Veterinaria San Francisco de Asis in her home country of Costa Rica in 2019. She worked in a mixed animal private practice until 2021. She then completed a one year rotating internship at Brazos Valley Equine Hospital in Navasota Texas in 2022. Her primary interests are equine sport medicine and rehabilitation, emergency, and field surgical procedures. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family, dogs, and friends.
