Hemostasis Laboratory – Platelet Testing
In observance of Thanksgiving, Auburn University’s Department of Pathobiology will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
Packages that are received on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 and Friday, November 28, 2025 will be accepted and accessioned as normal.
Hemostasis Laboratory processing information:
November 24 – 25, 2025 – Operate as normal
November 26, 2025 – Closed
November 27, 2025 – Closed
November 28, 2025 – Closed
Samples received on November 24 – 25, 2025 will be accessioned. The standard 8-10 business day turnaround will be extended, with normal testing resuming during the week of December 1, 2025.
