Courtney Burbage
LVT
Supervisor, Emergency and Critical Care, Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine
Courtney Burbage is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 13 years of experience in emergency and critical care medicine. She currently serves as the Supervisor of Emergency and Critical Care at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she plays a key role in overseeing IMC/ICU inpatient care and emergency services.
Her primary areas of practice include emergency and critical care, with special interests in geriatric care, hospice care, and physical therapy/rehabilitation. Courtney is passionate about advancing patient care and supporting the evolving needs of veterinary patients across all life stages.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Courtney is actively involved in teaching and mentorship. She has contributed to the Annual Conference at AUCVM and regularly works with veterinary students, interns, residents, assistants, and technicians to support their clinical development.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys caring for multiple animals and embracing farm life, with a special fondness for senior pets.
