Juli Goldstein

Dr. Juli D. Goldstein is a small animal technical services veterinarian for Pet Vivo Animal Health as well as a consulting veterinarian for NOAA Fisheries and accredited facilities, where she advises on the health and welfare of marine mammals. She also serves as an appointed member of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Advisory Council.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Zoology and her DVM from Auburn and is a dual recipient of the Young Alumni Achievement Award from the College of Science and Mathematics and the College of Veterinary Medicine. Most recently, she also received her certification from the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (CHPV).

Her experience spans across varied disciplines including small animal emergency and general practice, marine wildlife medicine, clinical research and laboratory animal care across North America and international locations. Her expertise also extends beyond traditional veterinary practice, as she has gained widespread recognition for her work with “Winter” and “Hope,” the dolphins featured in Warner Brothers’ “Dolphin Tale” films, in which she appeared as herself.

Previously, Dr. Goldstein served as an associate research professor and chief clinician at Florida Atlantic University. She has contributed to more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and conducted extensive field research, including the medical management of health and environmental risk assessments involving more than 400 wild dolphins.
