Horse Course offers ideal learning opportunity for equine owners, enthusiasts

Horse owners and enthusiasts will have an opportunity to learn from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine experts during the 2025 Horse Course on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Veterinary Education Center.

The adult education course is open to individuals 19 and older, and pre-registration is required.

Topics will include hoof care/laminitis, behavior, theriogenology, ophthalmology, biosecurity and preventative medicine and gastric ulcers.

The “early bird” registration costs for horse owners and veterinarians will be $50 through November 9, and $75 from November 10-13. The cost for veterinary support staff members is $40 through November 9 and $65 when early registration closes. Auburn Vet Med students and Auburn faculty and staff will pay $15 for registration.
