Pursuit of the department's broad academic mission is supported by over 60 professional personnel. The Department of Pathobiology is the academic home for 26 graduate students (19 PhD-level) in the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program. Pathobiology faculty enrich the educational experiences of graduate students, residents, and veterinary students through their discovery and application of new knowledge in infectious disease, biodetection, cancer biology, molecular therapy, vaccinology, public health, and applied diagnostics.
